Ariana Stultz

A native of Los Angeles, mezzo-soprano Ariana Stultz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Bard College and is studying at the University of Southern California for her Masters in Music for Vocal Arts and Opera. Ms. Stultz is completing her second year in the graduate program, studying with Elizabeth Hynes. Ms. Stultz has performed numerous leading roles, including Bradamante in Handel’s Alcina last November, Hansel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel in association with the Hudson Opera Theatre, Sesto in Mozart's La clemenza di Tito, Orfeo in Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, and Nicklausse in Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann. Ms. Stultz has been the recipient of multiple awards, such as the Spotlight Awards at the Aspen Music Festival for composition and for vocal performance, the AEIOU Scholarship and the Opera Buffs Scholarship. Ms. Stultz has sung in local choirs such as Tonality and the National Children's Chorus. Along with singing Ms. Stultz is a painter and composer.
